Lately we've been having lots of fun with the terrible two's, but in between those tantrums there is the wonderful moments that make it all worth it! Since Xander's cousin Harmony came to play, Xander has started 'pretending'. I catch him every now and then sitting on the bed with his baby, talking to it...
"What happened baby? Need a bammy (bandaid)? Ok!" (pretends to get a bandaid and puts it on the baby)
My mother in-law bought me a piping bag for Christmas and I've been looking forward to using it. Yesterday was my sister in-laws 30th birthday, so I decided to make red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing. I quickly realised that the only reason they're called 'red velvet' is cos there's a stack load of red food dye in them...ah well, they look pretty!
About a week before Christmas a lady from Troy's work gave us a massive bag of toys that her son didn't play with anymore. (I guess she was making room for the new Christmas toys) So in the bag was many large and noisy toys that required many batteries- thanksomuch lady! (He has actually become very good at knowing to not use the noisy toys while Lilah is asleep. As soon as she wakes up he says "Loud toys now Mummy?") The next day I found Xander lining them all up and counting them, it was very cute. But please, no more vehicles!!
